Hi, I'm Joy.

I’m Joy Langtry, and I’m a baby boomer, an Aquarius, a wife and mother of 2 adult kids… and I value a healthy sense of humor above most other human qualities.

After 10 years in retail management, I worked another 20 years for a major Life Insurance and Financial Services company.  I was a Human Resources Rep, a Payroll Manager, a Customer Service Trainer, and an IT Help Desk Analyst at various times in my career, working up to management then changing course repeatedly.  Little did I know I was training to be self-employed!

Since 2004, I have operated my own small business as a Certified Notary Signing Agent.  I was crazy busy for a few years, then, well, you know what happened to the Mortgage and Real Estate industries!  Lucky I’m a polymath who MUST LEARN NEW THINGS CONSTANTLY… so I’ve been building websites as a hobby for the past decade, too.

Suddenly I realize that I not only understand SEO, keywords, HTML, WordPress, email marketing and the like… I actually think they’re fun!  It’s all like a big game, and I really, really want to play it!

I am really fond of small businesses and non-profit operations.  I’m partial to non-traditional ideas and strategies.  I’m a little bit of a rebel, and I know that if I am not a perfect fit for your needs, there is someone else out there who is… but if you’ve read this far, chances are we’ll get along just fine.
